SUMMARY:Center for Biomedical Informatics & Health AI International Guest Lecture with: Seng Chan You\, MD\, PhD
DESCRIPTION:Center for Biomedical Informatics & Health AI International Guest Lecture\n“Leveraging AI for Research and Clinical Practice”\n  \nSeng Chan You\, MD\, PhD\, Associate Professor\, Department of Biomedical Systems Informatics\, Yonsei University College of Medicine\, Seoul\, Republic of Korea\n  \nFrom research to the bedside\, AI is reshaping healthcare\, but real impact takes more than innovation. Drawing on experience at Yonsei University in South Korea\, this lecture explores how AI can accelerate clinical research using large-scale real-world health data\, and introduces the Y-KNOT project\, an on-premises large language model built into electronic health records. Through real examples of automated clinical documentation\, prospective evaluation\, and post-deployment monitoring\, you’ll see both the promise and the practical challenges of bringing generative AI into clinical settings\, plus a look ahead at AI agents that can retrieve\, synthesize\, and interpret patient information over time. Join us to learn how bridging development\, rigorous evaluation\, and implementation can unlock AI’s full potential in healthcare.\n  \nIFH 3rd Floor Conference Room\, 112 Paterson Street\, New Brunswick (email Ethan at erf112@shp.rutgers.edu if you can attend in person!)\n  \nRegister to Attend Via Zoom: https://rutgers.zoom.us/meeting/register/R2TIrZzZQf6mQlbd5g-ivQ
