Sharon Cook (M.A., Sociology, Rutgers University) is a research analyst for the Center for Health Services Research on Pharmacotherapy, Chronic Disease Management. She currently works on measurement and analysis of Medicaid claims data for the Center’s research on outcomes related to drug oversight mechanisms and managed care. She also provides analysis and reporting for the Center’s public-academic partnerships and for projects related to severe mental illness and substance use. Her research experience includes data management and analytic support for studies of cognitive-behavioral therapies designed for women with alcohol use disorders, and for state-funded projects to assess needs and evaluate programs for adults with developmental disabilities. She has also worked as a data consultant in the areas of disability and addiction prevention and treatment.
