Xu Guo is a second-year doctoral student in the Department of Sociology. She has an interest in cultural and cognitive sociology particularly around the question, “How do norms and mindsets of a group of people affect their behavior over time and in various contexts?” She holds a Master of Arts in Sociology from Columbia University (2020) and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Beijing Foreign Studies University (2019).
