Medicaid Utilization and Spending among Homeless Adults in New Jersey: Implications for Medicaid-Funded Tenancy Support Services, was conducted at the request of the DMAHS and HMFA and funded by The Nicholson Foundation and the DMAHS. Medicaid Demonstration Waivers with Housing Supports: An Interim Assessment, was funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and examines four states that provide housing supports through Medicaid demonstration (§1115) waivers. This report describes preliminary observations regarding program design in California, Maryland, and Washington based on documentary evidence reviews; future work will delve deeper into lessons from early stages of program implementation and will include Illinois.
