Charu Verma is a Data Analyst at Rutgers’ Institute for Health, Health Care Policy and Aging Research. She provides data-analytic support to a large program of research and constructs statistically advanced programs in SAS and other software to allow analysis of data from large and sensitive national healthcare datasets and population-based surveys. Charu holds a master’s degree in public health (MPH- Epidemiology & Biostatistics) from CUNY Graduate School of Health & Health Policy and prior to this she was working as a Research Assistant in Viral hepatitis program at the New York City Department of Health & Mental Hygiene, New York. She also has a dental degree and over five years of experience working in a government sector in India.
