Patrick Clifford, Ph.D., M.A., is a professor and Interim Chair of the Department of Health Behavior, Society and Policy at the Rutgers School of Public Health. Dr. Clifford received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the City University of New York, College of Staten Island, a master’s degree in psychology from the City University of New York, Hunter College, and a doctoral degree in behavioral science from the University of Texas, Health Science Center at Houston, School of Public Health. He also completed a post-doctoral fellowship, National Institutes of Health/National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism T32 program, in alcohol treatment/intervention research at Brown University, Center for Alcohol and Addiction Studies.
