Invited speaker Dr. Angélica Meinhofer is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Population Health Sciences at Weill Cornell Medicine. Prior to this position, she obtained a PhD in Economics from Brown University and a Bachelor degree in Economics from the University of Puerto Rico. Dr. Meinhofer’s research draws on health economics methodologies and frameworks to elucidate the health outcomes of individuals and families affected by substance use disorders and the role of policy in modifying these outcomes. Her current research is funded by a NIDA K01.
