Assistant Director, Marketing and Communications,
Rutgers Institute for Health, Health Care Policy and Aging Research

Nicole is the Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications for the Rutgers Institute for Health, Health Care Policy and Aging Research. She is responsible for leading the internal and external communication, marketing, media relations, and social media strategies in an effort to grow and promote IFH’s brand in the community and on national and international levels.

Communications responsibilities involve writing, designing and publishing newsletters, updating the Institute website, and effectively communicating news and updates with faculty and staff. Media relations responsibilities involve writing and disseminating press releases and coordinating Q&A’s, op-eds, and expert pitches to position IFH experts to media. Marketing responsibilities involve the development of marketing materials such as flyers, newsletters, mailing materials, advertisements and brochures. Social media responsibilities involve consistently sharing engaging and creative information via the Institute’s social media presence on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.

Nicole also manages various Institute events, its speaker series, summer research internship program, and Howard Leventhal Scholarship for Trainees.

Formerly, Nicole was the executive producer of “Think Tank with Steve Adubato,” a weekly television series airing on PBS in the NJ/NYC area, a segment producer for “One-on-One with Steve Adubato” and “State of Affairs with Steve Adubato,” and a marketing coordinator for the non-profit production company, Caucus Educational Corporation.

Nicole is passionate about using communications and media to spread knowledge and awareness about health equity and innovations in health.

Nicole received a masters degree in communication and media studies from Rutgers University and a bachelors degree in TV production, graphic design and fine arts from Seton Hall University.
