Ziyan Hong is a PhD student in Pharmacoepidemiology at Rutgers University under the guidance of Dr. Benjamin Bates. She earned her MPH degree in Epidemiology from the University of Michigan, Ann arbor (2023), and a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Chang Gung University in Taiwan (2020). Her research focuses on cancer pharmacoepidemiology, with an emphasis on evaluating the effectiveness and outcomes of cancer medications using real-world data, such as electronic healthcare records, billing claims, and cancer registries.
