Internal medicine residents joined faculty and staff from IFH’s Center for Climate, Health, and Healthcare (CCHH) for an afternoon of cooking, learning, and a little culinary creativity at Morris Cancer Center’s Teaching Kitchen. Drs. Aayush Visaria and Soko Setoguchi from CCHH teamed up with nutrition professor Dr. Nurgul Fitzgerald from Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Sciences and Chef Erin Clarke to serve up a tasty session featuring stuffed sweet potatoes with krispy kale and tahini. The session gave residents a fresh way to think about nutrition beyond the textbook. This flavorful gathering is part of an ongoing series designed to help medicine residents build their nutrition knowledge one bite at a time.
