Richard Hermida (M.S., George Mason University, 2008) is a Research Analyst in the Center for Health Services Research on Pharmacotherapy, Chronic Disease Management and Outcomes. He provides data assembly, programming, and analytical support for studies on antipsychotic and sedative-hypnotic medication use in nursing homes and changes and patterns of opioid prescribing, initiation and retention in treatment, and of medically treated overdoses and related events in New Jersey Medicaid claims data. Richard has published several peer-reviewed papers including articles in the Journal of Management, Journal of Business and Psychology, and Computational Methods in Social Sciences.
