Dr. Yanping Jiang’s research focuses on social determinants of health. She is particularly interested in examining the biopsychosocial mechanisms contributing to health disparities related to socioeconomic status and race/ethnicity, as well as identifying protective factors that can promote health equity across diverse populations. Dr. Jiang completed her postdoctoral training in Health Psychology at Wayne State University. She received her Ph.D. in Health Promotion, Education and Behavior at the Arnold School of Public Health, University of South Carolina.
