Kira Sheldon is a recent graduate of Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. Her current research interests are focused on the role of family in accessing and utilizing healthcare services and exploring more equitable solutions to existing health inequalities. Under the direction of Dr. Elizabeth Luth, PhD., she is currently working at the Institute for Health, Health Care Policy and Aging Research on projects focused on identifying and addressing social disparities in end-of-life and palliative care and improving care for patients and their families.
