Please join Rutgers Institute for Health via Zoom on May 7 at 1pm to support the next generation of population health researchers. We are excited to be joined by this past year’s impressive recipients of IFH’s Howard Leventhal Scholarship for Trainees, who will discuss their scholarship-supported health research.

Naomi Cruz, a PhD candidate in Health Systems and Policy at the Rutgers School of Public Health, will discuss her work on risk and protective factors for adolescent suicidality and barriers to mental health treatment. Alexis Richeson, a PhD candidate in Prevention Science at Rutgers-Camden, will discuss her work on gender stereotyped and religious sexual messaging in relation to mental and behavioral health outcomes.
