Daniel Horton, MD

Dr. Horton’s research focuses on the safety of anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive medications in pediatric populations, the origins of childhood arthritis, and the management of well-controlled juvenile arthritis. He performs pharmacoepidemiologic studies using large administrative and electronic health records databases as well as mixed-methods research based on semi-structured interviews and surveys. His research is funded by the National Institutes of Health/National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (K23) and the Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance.
