Seminar: Brief Alcohol Interventions are Effective through Six Months: Findings from Marginalized Zero-inflated Poisson and Negative Binomial Models in a Two-step IPD Meta-analysis

E. Y. Mun is a Professor in the Department of Health Behavior and Health Systems at the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth (HSC). She had a faculty position at Rutgers from 2006 to 2017 before joining the HSC faculty in 2018. Her research broadly focuses on brief alcohol interventions for young adults – how they work, which intervention types are better than others, and for whom they work better. She uses existing data from multiple sources and advanced statistical models to provide answers to these questions. Her seminar will discuss how she has used statistics to advance alcohol research.
