NJ ACTS Special Populations Core 2022 Seminar Series

Brandon D. L. Marshall, PhD, Associate Professor of Epidemiology, Brown University, presents “Supervised Consumption Sites and Overdose Prevention in the United States: Possibilities, Prospects, and Challenges.”

In this seminar, Professor Marshall will discuss the state and science of supervised consumption sites – also known as overdose prevention centers – in the United States. Drawing from experiences and research in other countries, he will discuss the role such facilities might play in responding to the nation’s overdose crisis.
