Dr. Adam Lerner is a Post-doctoral Associate in the Center for Population-Level Bioethics (CPLB). Previously, Dr. Lerner was Assistant Professor/Faculty Fellow in the Center for Bioethics at New York University and Lecturer in the Philosophy Department at Princeton University.
Dr. Lerner obtained a PhD in Philosophy from Princeton, where he wrote a dissertation on the role of empathy in moral inquiry. His work has appeared in venues such as The Journal of Moral Philosophy, Oxford Studies in Metaethics, and Philosophical Studies.
At CPLB, he is working on working on projects related to health state evaluation, prioritarianism, procreation ethics, and preventive medicine.
